Madeline smiled to herself. People took one look at her and thought she was this sweet helpless little 11 year old. But no body wanted to get in her way.
She walked down the sidewalk. She wanted to stretch her wings, fly even, but people would catch her lifting off and she wouldn't be safe anymore.

As Riley walked along the sidewalk and noticed a small girl. For some reason he just felt called to her. And she looked a little... Unusual, unlike any other little girl. Also, where were her parents? He stopped next to her. "Hi." He spoke warmly hoping she would respond.

Madeline looked up at him. Her eyes widened. She knew he was a super and had been trying to stay away from them. Without saying anything, she ran down the ally way off the sidewalk. Once she rounded a corner, she flew up and perched on the top of a light pole.

Riley saw the girl run. "Hey wait!" He yelled running after her. He ran around a corner and stopped when he saw her fly. "I knew it!" He grumbled to himself. "Look I'm not going to hurt you I promise."
