Julie turned to see Kelly and Jason walk in. "Where's shleya?" She asked.

Madeline was still hovering above everyone else, her large wings fanned out behind her, flapping effortlessly.

"Not coming." Kelly said looking around nervously. Yes, Shleya told them to be careful, but even with the molecular shield, Kelly felt uneasy.

"The meetings been called off for to tomorrow..." She said to them.

 

[Shleya Remmos]

"Really?" Kelly asked looking at a girl about her age flying. "In that case, i think we'd better go tell her." Kelly said looking back at Julie.

Julie nodded. "Oh, by the way, this is Madeline..." She said.

Kelly looked back at her. "Hi..." She said shyly. Jason was already walking nonchalantly out of the cave. he whispered in her mind, Let's go. Kelly was still waiting a reply from Madeline. wait just a bit. She thought back.

"Hi, what's your name?" She asked brightly. "Oh wait... Your name is Kelly, right?"

Kelly looked at her feet she wasn't normally one to make friends. She nodded without looking up. Shleya was usually there to give her some confidence but she wasn't there. She scuffed the dirt on the ground with her shoe.

"Nice to meet you too..." Kelly said finally gathering the courage to look up. Shifting on her feet nervously, She looked back at Jason who gave her a mental thumbs up.
