Shleyas hand expertly tossed the knife, quickly, but she threw it backwards so Daren wouldn't have to worry about the blade. her eyes seemed to glow with this new opportunity to test her skills.

Daren sliced the monsters throat and blood squirted out all over the floor. It was stone dead. Daren stood up breathing hardly.

"Well... that was unexpected... And a little disturbing." Shleya said looking at the blood on the floor. She was unfazed from the sudden monster attack and neither was she out of breath. her fights were normally quick, easy, and one-sided. She usually showed mercy to her opponents... She hated killing, but once, it was necessary. a wolf had attacked her, it looked starving and alone so she felt bad that she needed to end its life.

Daren threw the knife at the wall next to Shleya purposely missing her head, "We need to find a way out of here, quick." He said looking around. He walked forwards and suddenly a door appeared in front of him. He glared at the door wondering if it was safe to go inside.

Shleya Yanked the dagger out of the wall and sighed inside of her head. Daren was a little too head strong. If she hadn't have been there, Daren might be dead. She also focused her attention on the new door. Then she looked around for Daren's pet bird.

 

[Oh Mah Gawsh]

Daren unzipped his jet black jacket and the little fat bird fell out and landed on its two feet. Daren grabbed the bird and made it stare into his eyes as if he was talking to the bird with his mind. He sighed wondering what to do with the bird if it got hurt.
