Daren stopped absorbing shadows and returned to normal as he noticed the sun coming up. While he was absorbing the shadows he was spectating Jason and Shleya and for some reason his heart seemed to ache a little. Daren sighed and sat down next to the same tree and put a hand over one of his eyes. Why... He told himself. He just wished this world was never created and everything that happened didn't.
