Josh heard a cacophonous noise coming from outside the bathroom he was in. Then, he heard steps that were getting louder and louder. Step...STep...
STEp...STEP. The footsteps stopped. He assumed there was a monster still in the space ship, and it was going to get him. However, he heard a humanly voice call his name. "Josh, it's me Daren. Don't worry I turned...back to normal." Josh crept closer towards the bathroom door and slowly opened it. He saw Daren with his jet black hair pointing a gun at him with belligerent eyes. "Want to know a secret?" Daren asked grinning. As he continued to point the gun at Josh Daren whispered something into his ear. Josh quickly jolted back. "Why would I even care about them?! You... Idiot!"

Riley waited outside the spaceship for everyone to gather their things. Then, he heard a loud electic gunshot from inside. He bolted through the space ship door to find out what had just happened.

Jade plugged her headphones into her ipod makig herself unable to hear the gunshot. She sat down almost half a mile away from the space ship and watched the dead scenary.

Julie was bending down to gather her things, when she ears a gunshot. Her head snapped upward. The shot had come from the ship. Her heart pounded. This can't be good! she thought as she cautiously walked into the spaceship. Her mouth dropped as she saw where the gunshot had come from and who it hit. She was compel eyelet shocked.

Cass' stomach turned into a knot as she heard the gunshot. She felt as if he was going to vomit again. She ran to the spaceship, even though she felt as if she were going to pass out. She stopped in her tracks, just behind Julie.

Riley saw Josh's corpse on the floor. He glared at Daren and tried to shove him to the wall but Daren had dodged him. "Why?!" Riley yelled. "He's a burden. Pointless to have with us. Plus, he knows all our secrets and can easily go against us. His innocent look was always just an act. I read it in his notes." Daren threw Josh's notebook to the floor just to prove his point.

Riley sighed. "Well, we have to leave him here. Let's move out before the monsters catch up to us." He walked out of the space ship with a backpack behind him.

Cass' jaw dropped. "You killed him?!" Her stomach was in knots. Her mouth went dry. Why were people so cruel?! she thought.

Daren smiled, proud of what he had done. And then followed Riley out of the ship.

Julie though she wanted him dead before, she felt awful now that he was dead. She turned on her heel and walked out of the spaceship. She grabbed the two jugs of water, her backpack, a bag of food and a bag of clothing she'd found on the spaceship. "Are we ready to go?" She said finally.

Cass gathered her gadgets and tools up in her arms. There was no smile on her face. Usually technology could cheer her right up, but right now, she couldn't have been even slightly happy. What if daren does that to one of us if he feels that we're useless. He'll just shoot is dead like he did to josh?!

Jade looked behind and sas everyone walk towards her. She grabbed her camoflauge backpack and stood up.
