Attach files picture uploading

When I tried saving it to the pixel from my email

Attach files does not work for uploading pictures.
I went ahead and tried the mountain icon thingy and it doesn't work either.View attachment 4128545

I opened each one in Paint and saved it as a PNG.

I opened each one in Paint and saved it as a PNG.

I'm not opening each picture and saving it to something else to upload.
It wasn't an issue last week so I'm wondering if it's something to do with my phone or..... It actually can't just be my phone cuz it does the same on the computer for me.
