Attack...bloody bird found and in shock suspected.

How hot is it there? Sometimes, if it's really hot out, they will drink, and "vomit" some water. Due to drinking extra water, when it's hot out, they may also experience a bit of watery poop. Just keep an eye on them.

EXTREMELY hot right now....National weather service alert hot...expected 105 thru Aug 1st.....Remedy's suggested?...I cant get out of the house...no misters on-site.

Freeze water bottles, and float them in their water bucket(s). Feed them frozen peas, cold watermelon, cucumber, etc. (Don't overdo it with the treats). Take the hose, run it until the water is cool, then make them a few wet spots in the run. You can also take a gallon milk jug, rinse it out, and fill it just a little over half full with water, then freeze it. Take it to the run, and punch a few holes on one side of it, then set it on the ground with the holes down. As it melts, it will drip into the dirt, making a nice cool wet spot. Sometimes the chickens like to stand, or sit right next to the milk jugs, to cool off, too.
