Attack- lost eye

If you don't have any electrolytes on hand, you can Google a recipe. Here's one.

Electrolytes.
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 teaspoons honey OR molasses OR granulated sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda OR 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
How quickly does a topical need to be added after? Because we’re going on 48 hours since it’s happened. I just made an account tonight to seek advice when I found out about this page. Worried this long she might need something internally for infection maybe? Idk! This is all new to us

I would get that Terramycin on her eye as soon as you can then, but be sure it's clean first. By now it probably has dirt and germs in it. If you stop this from becoming infected and there are no other injuries, she should be okay!

You’ve been a huge help thank you <3

Awe, you're so welcome. I just hope she gets better and I'm sure under your care, she will. :hugs Be sure to reach out if she for some reason gets worse.
Wanted to update- her eye popped open the other day! Was shocked when I saw her peaking! We definitely thought it was taken out how it looked but after healing she started slowly opening it and she is doing great now and can see out of both eyes :) 🙏🏼
