Attacked by neighbors dog

My RIR hen was just attacked by my neighbors dog. He ripped out a lot of her feathers and she has a dime size bruise on her breast. She seems fine. Eating and drinking as usual and chasing the babies away from the treats. I know she'll most likely stop laying now but was wondering if there was anything I could give her to help her grow her feathers back or to relieve her stress. I just hope she has no internal injuries. Gave her a bunch of sunflower seeds and raspberries that she loves. Other than watch her, not sure what else to do. Need to destress myself now too...;(

The next step is determining how the attack happened - was the bird in your yard? Is your yard fenced? Is your neighbor's yard fenced? Is the dog typically left to run at large? Figuring out how the dog and bird got together and taking appropriate steps to prevent that from happening again is key - as it is very likely the dog will return for a repeat performance.
