Attacked by pekins at Hollywood Forever Cemetery

Has anyone else in the LA area seen these ducks? They're ruthless! I have a pet indoor duck, so when I saw these ducks at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery come running up to me, I put out my arms to give them hugs and snuggles. Suddenly they started biting me, HARD! One in particular would latch onto my skin, getting a good mouthful of it and twisting his head side to side, as if he was trying to pull off chunks of my limbs. I couldn't believe it! It's been about 10 days since the attack, and I still have bruises on my arms and legs. Has anyone else met these ducks or been attacked by them? Part of me wants to attempt to tame them now.
