I have a Comet Hen that was attacked by something about 2 weeks ago. I actually think it might have been an owl because a couple of nights she was roosting in an tall shrub instead of coming in the chicken house and I couldn't get her down. And we have Barred Owls in the area raising their babies. Anyhowwwww...She had some tail feathers pulled out and a puncture in the back of her head/top of her neck. But she seemed 'ok' overall and is still feisty (she's the queen), eating, drinking and laying eggs. But I noticed gardening beside her (which she loves to participate) she was wheezing. I thought it was just a part of the injury and although it seems better, not as labored, it is still there. I have one other full grown bantam and 4 babies pullets that are newly integrated (8 weeks). Not sure how to handle since they've been together this whole time. Any ideas fellow chicken keepers? It would be much appreciated. Amanda
