Alright, thank you both. Glad I did a good job--I was worrying that I somehow did something wrong lol.

I've used neosporin on turtle bites my ducks have gotten in the past, and it seemed to work, nothing went wrong when using it. But should I keep putting neosporin on it, or should I use something else or nothing at all?

Peroxide should only be used for initial cleaning because with continued use it can cause tissue damage.
