Attacking the new hen

I bought a single Sebright hen today. She is about 4 months old. I already had 8 2 mos old pullets. 4 buff orps, 2 barred rocks, and 2 rirs. Tho younger the pullets outweigh and are bigger than her. I sat her down in the run and they immediately attacked. I picked her up and made other accomodations for her

How can I get her accepted to the run/coop?

Introducing a single new member to the flock is not always a great idea. However, it doesn't sound like you gave it very much time for them to figure things out. Who knows what might have happened after a few minutes. If trying again doesn't work out to great, try putting a smaller cage inside of their run so they can all see each other without being able to attack each other.

I left her in several minutes but they were starting to gang up. I will try the cage idea next. Thanks.
