True that, N3m, but ... it's a flavor and texture that grows on you! It can leave regular yeast bread seeming a bit bland!

Well I’ve got my first loaf in the oven now!! I cheddar jalapeño loaf with the peppers I got from my garden. Last night when I was done with the first rise I looked at the recipe and it said they then needed to rise overnight for another 12 hours I was very impatient lol

Well when people say your starter needs to be at least a week old for it to make dough rise LISTEN TO THEM I got a very dense loaf. Still tasted great though lol
