Do your chicks ever fight over you. Mine battle over who gets to sit closer to me or on my hands. 3 weeks old. Do chicks fight over moma hen in the wild?

I'm not trying to burst your bubble or anything but they want your heat. When they grow up, I would expect this to change. Sometimes adults will jump up on your lap for a warm up or to just check things out then hop off.
They sit on their mothers sometimes for heat as well. And for a better vantage point.

Lol I would guess that too. But it's 80 in this room. And they have quit the heatlamp. But it's on for them . They are allowed to jump out of there brooder to find me. And they do.
