The one thing that is actually a pain with these auctions is that you can't set your max bid and have to keep doing the "I bid higher" game, which is fun, but a pain if your computer locks up or you can't be home...

Used to be I couldn't get my family to help catch the little suckers to drown them. Since the chickens joined us, it's become one of the favorite summertime activities. "where ya goin'?", "beetle hunting". It works for me

That's how mine are! They will only eat bugs if I catch them for them and even then they have to be the "right" bugs, like store bought meal worms or crickets, they run from beetles or play some wierdo chicken stare down dance with them, they won't touch worms or slugs! Darn Brats! My neighbor said my girls were spoiled rotten and that's why they won't lay in the winter ("he claims that I've made them lazy"). Whatever! I like my big butted, lazy chickens!
