Attic fan in coop?

Here in the Phoenix Valley, the temperatures have been ridiculously hot. I've got a mid-size coop and am trying to figure out the best method to move air. Because it is so small, I don't know if installing a fan would be the best route. But what about an attic fan that can be installed to a wall near that top of the coop which would move air through? They blow out, so fresh air could be constantly coming in from the main entrance. Or would a vent fan be a better option?

I've been planning to install one of the solar attic fans in my coop when it's built.

That way I'll get some ventilation without having to run electricity to the coop.

There's no reason why an attic fan wouldn't work...

Most fans have some sort of CFM rating on them. You could compare the attic fans and see how much air they'll move...

ours has a small (~15cm) bathroom ventilation fan inside which sits completely inside the coop just underneath one of the vents and blows air down the coop towards the other vent.

it's not very powerful but it makes the difference between ammonia smell when it's off or no ammonia smell when it's running.

that's with only 3 hens in 43 sq ft for the inside part of the coop, but i reckon if it was "properly" installed in the wall it would be effective for a much larger concentration of birds.

dunno about solar fans...you need just as much ventilation in the winter when a solar fan won't be as much use, but as you're in AZ you may still have enough sun in the winter, you'd know better.
