Attn. all members! The cancer center needs hats!

Hi gumpsgirl,

i know I m a long way away, but I am doing a lot of knitting right now and this will be part of my new business, so I can use up any wool I have left over to make some hats for you in the future, I will collect them together, and send you a parcel of them.

It will not help right now but for the future, may come in handy.
Glad to have a way to use up the wool left over. plus it will do my soul good to help out a good cause.

Jena.

Ok, Great,

I will make a start this weekend while I am away.

I have to go to my uncle's funeral on Tuesday, but I have to go early to make arrangements and prepare, so I will be sat bored in the evenings, so this is great time for me to keep occupied with some knitting.

Many thanks,

Jena.

Ladies, this is a very king venture you are taking on. Below is me summer before last fighting breast cancer - all kinds of hats are greatly appreciated. Winter to keep heads warm and summer to keep them cool and from being exposed to the sun. Thanks for you hard work!

ACK! 4 hats already? I REALLY want to make some hats and I know how to make an endless scarf (meaning I've never figured it out). I have a knifty knitter that has never been out of the package and this seems like a great way to get it out of the package. Does anyone have any how-to instructions to make my maiden voyage successful? I've checked on you-tube and not much luck there. I'll keep searching websites in the morning. I got some lion brand yarn homespun, says 98% acrylic, 2% polyester. It's really soft, thought it might work. Do I need to take it back to the store and find something better?

I can't believe you've hand stitched 4 already! Wish I had your talent.
