Pair I got from NovaAman - (Decoyman). I love the color in the roos tail. Can't wait to see how he turns out! Nova, I posted here and the MI thread too so you could see them.

Very nice pair! Are they pure RS Yokohamas? They will be good breeders! Just keep them separated until your food tail is out of blood feather. One thing I didn't do my first go round... The tail on your too is amazing! Keep them pics coming! There is another longtail thread I started for all longtails pure and mixed. Hope to see you there soon!

I posted a response about the cockerel on the longtails thread, Silly.

Here is a quick pic of my RSY. I am thinking he is a he as he's quite a bit bigger than the white yoko that was hatched at the same time. Only had one white yoko and one red shoulder. I think the white may be a pullet. Very delicate, will know for sure in a few more weeks.

I took the pic kinda late as you can see by the time. It was dark in the garage, and my camera has a night time setting. HEHE. They were a bit... freaked.


The yoko pullet is the one onthe left on the black wall. The other white ones are white jap bants, and the one on the shelf is a bantam salmon faverolles.

I'd apologize over the poop... but it seems as soon as I scrap, they get up there and poop again! LOL. That purple bucket in the back gets loaded quite quick!

How do you tell when the "food tail" is out of blood? What one is considered a food tail?

I think he meant "your roos tail is out of bloodfeather". Autocorrect can be a pain sometimes.

As far as knowing when, i think if you look at the base of the feathers you can actually see the blood within them, ie. Still growing

I could 100% wrong on that do hopefully someone can confirm or deny
