Here In England Yokos are really good broodies, my hens should be really good, they are listed as the top five breeds for broodies here in the uk

It's in the main British poultry magazine called practical poultry, they published it as well as it being in some books, in my experience they are great broodies, the man that I bought mine off had lots of yokos broody, he had a hen that hatched 3 batches and raised them, I thought "who needs silkies"

Loads of breeds seem to be better broodies according to that list they "they can be broody" nothing particularly noteworthy
