ATTN: Yokohama Lovers!

Master is Sarge, Master it... LOL

I got a pic of my RSY cockerel. I think he's... going on 3 months... I think.... I kind of coaxed him into coming towards me while I was behind a bush. LOL

I think this one is a pullet.

This one I think is a cockrel. He finally started getting flight feathers in!
The pullet is maybe 8-10wks and the cockrel is about 4-6. I may be off by 2wks...

Sorry, I think I edited to add the other two pics as you were posting. I'll have to go back and look at the hatch date. I want to say he's only 3 months or so though... I could be off... BUT he's not crowing yet, and both Ed and Blue boy were crowing at this age... he's not. OH, I posted updates on the phoenix thread of them.

Ok I think it was sir birdoholic or someone else on here that stated that having black in the tail is a sign of a good RS Yokohama. How true is that statement? I like the look of it but is that true? Just been wondering that for a while now...

Oh, and thanks. He's a curious fellow. Funny thing, he's friendly yet with the bantam faverolles hen that he brooded with. LOL, She was the only odd ball aside from the jap bants. I have a white yoko hen, but she is such a pain in the butt to get a pic of... I try and get her pic, and she runs away. EVEN IF I am trying to coax her with a treat. She's flighty...

I love the whites! One of my hens is lighter than the other and I thought Tue pullet was out of her but I think she may be out of the darker hen since she is so dark....still tryin to wrap my head around breeding the colors to get a lighter/darker offspring... Guess next season I will single mate them and find out that way.
