ATTN: Yokohama Lovers!

Hi, the most important thing I have found is to keep their coop dry and clean. If they are allowed to free range their tail will get muddy, brittle and break. Same if you have an outside run where the tail could get muddy, wet, sun bleached, etc.

my trio imported german line hens and a stag out of sirbirdoholic.
all have correct walnut comb and yellow legs.

so I have had 2 hatches from my home-bred breedings... silkieXNN, sumatraXyokohama, and pure yokohama...the crosses had a high hatch rate but the yokohamas failed to hatch period! I broke a few open and they were fully developed... what am I doing wrong? im going to try to make a game hen go broody to see if that's the issue?
