I've always fed Purina Layena but a new Atwoods opened close to me and they have a 10% coupon good for total purchase on Thanksgiving Day only. I'm almost out of feed so considered giving their layer pellets a try but can't find any information about them. I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has used both the Purina and the Atwoods brands for a comparison (especially what the chooks thought of them

I use atwoods layer pellets whenever we can get to the atwoods (an hour away). I find the bags to be always fresh and the pellets to be of an even size, small. My hens eat it just fine.

We are supposed to be getting an atwoods in the small town near us soon. When we do I'll be buying all my feed there.

I have used that brand from atwoods before and found that it works just as well as the other brands i've used but i like the co op stuff better cause it comes in a 50 lbs bag instead of 40 lbs .
