Atypical breed behavior - a production red

Ugh, that would be terrible - never had a broody quit after that being broody that long. I have had them start being broody, set eggs -whoops no, not quite ready, and then 3 days later get broody all the way and no eggs to set!

Now, I wait 2 days, to make sure they are really stuck. I don't tend to get 100% hatches, but one always hopes.
