**AUCTION**
Do not send PM - Bidding starts at $60 with $5 increments
JUBILEE Orpington Hatching Eggs 6+
Ends 7/13 Friday 5PM PST - Ships Monday 7/16 overnight
I accept Paypal, Mastercard or Visa, which is due the day the auction closes.
Orpingtons with extra sparkle! For the first time we are making available hatching eggs from our lovely Jubilee Orpington flock. They are Greenfire Farms line with unrelated breeders. This color variety is quite rare, and these eggs won’t last long.
Fans of Orpingtons know that they are calm, sweet birds, and our Jubilees are no exception. They have the best temperaments of just about any breed we have raised. In addition to their good attitudes, Jubilees are unusually beautiful and have a unique history.
William Cook, the well-known breeder who first developed Orpingtons, bred Jubilees especially to commemorate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee. In fact, the dappling of white across a properly colored Jubilee Orpington brings to mind diamond spangles. The overall color pattern of a Jubilee is complex, consisting of a rich, mahogany-colored feather shaft, a black band, and a bright white tip.
Besides breeding for the proper feathering, we have paid close attention to making sure our Jubilees have the correct body-type for an Orpington. With their “fluffy butts” and round bodies, these birds are sure to make you smile!
The Omelet Ranch supports small breeders and backyard flock keepers. Quality is our top priority and we are especially careful in choosing our breeding birds. Our stock is of the highest quality available and it shows in the birds we hatch.
We are proud that our shipped eggs have always arrived 100% perfect and intact. We wrap each egg in a bubble wrap pouch and then they are "floated" in a large box of packing peanuts. Then we ship Fedex overnight at an additional cost of only $20! While we cannot guarantee safe arrival, we do our very best to assure they arrive with the utmost care.
The eggs will be freshly collected for this order. We are currently experiencing 100% fertility here at The Omelet Ranch!
