Yup the above pic is from a few weeks ago. This is her other side today. I don't believe she's blind, I've never thought that anyway. I think her eyes are just in the process of changing colors. Looks like they'll likely end up red bay

I always feel regret when I sell one - which is good in a way, I think, as I'd rather sell good stock then junk... but I really like this girl! I don't think I noticed how wide her feathers were before. I won't feel the slightest bit bad if no one bids

I'm so sorry to hear that. my condolences to you. having dealt with barn fires before I know how devastating they can be. I hope you didn't lose everybody.
all i can offer are hatching eggs, but maybe somebody I have might be worthy. If i can help just say the word. (if anyone ever starts laying again!)

Thank you so much Karen. Right now I'm not feeling the loss to my breeding program so much, I'm hurting over the horrific death of the individual birds.
I do have a young birds in the coop, chicks in the laundry room and eggs in the incubators so I'm grateful for that.
