Well the new chicks are growing fast. I Have a very cute little golden colored Easter Egger chick. Unfortunately the chicks from the Ameraucana pullets aren't looking too special .
First batch is looking good still trying to figure out what the older chicks are. Hens or roo's. Easter Egger chickens are so hard to sex sometimes.

I'm excited with some of the colors . Not excited at how my Ameraucana project is going. The second picture is one of the silver/black Ameraucana's hatchling. It looks like the wheaten rooster the lady used a few years ago is still around genetically .
I really hope I can get a really dark brown egg layer. So I can add olive eggs to my basket. Weirdly enough some of the light brown layers are laying tan eggs for last week.
Princess Laya is still broody and on top of 20 eggs now. Am moving her and the eggs tomorrow night along with popping the five older chicks in. Also getting a female Peking duck tomorrow.

Well the lady duck is still sitting in the garage. Wow is that bird loud. Third day here though and already gave us two large eggs. Lol only white eggs we have.
