I think we’re on the same day! You mentioned the 17th being hatch day if I remember correctly and that is my birthday, so I decided I couldn’t resist birthday chicks lol

Oh yes! Ok thought it was you that couldn't resist and collected and set some! LOL the 17th is day 20 but mine always seem to hatch then so that is what I think will happen this time.

Down to three eggs, one BCM, WTB, and the mystery egg. I’m so disappointed in the poor fertility issues with my flock! The WTB don’t count They’re still very young and I was simply curious lol

How are the WTB laying so far? When did they start? What color are the eggs? Ours are 8 weeks, so we have awhile but we just lost one of our Olive Eggers so I am anxiously awaiting some more color in our farm cartons!

I'm down to 3 as well! All 7 I had were growing at some point, 3 quit the first week and 1 more quit the second week. I'm hoping these 3 make it to hatch day on Friday

Yes. I normally take out the turner on the night of day 17 so I can candle them first and up humidity on day 18

Two hatched! I'm thrilled
I did have to go in and help the darker one out a bit. Really glad I did, because he's perfectly healthy; he'd just managed to position himself where zipping was not a possibility. They're already giving me the muscovy side eye - I can't wait for them to grow up!
