And next week-end I'm going to pick blueberries, raspberries and gooseberries, so lots of jam!!!

Thats 2 more from lasts month swap. Welcome again!!! I love blueberries but my bushes didn't do anything this year. I was swamped with berries last year and only about 2 cups this year. We just washed and ate them. No Blueberry jam here or blueberry pancakes

I want in! Not sure what I am sending yet, we have strawberry jam, peach jam, strawberry rhubarb jam, tomato butter, regular peaches, hot tomatoe ketchup. actually we have all kinds of things. Most of them are sweet but I also will probably have salsa by them.

Just FYI I will be without internet from Aug 2.-Aug 7 so when you draw my name it will take a while for me to respond that week but I will be back with plenty of time to get the package ready and mail it out!!

I actually haven't tried the tomatoe butter myself yet. I went on vacation and it was canned by my hubby upon my return (he is the canner in our family really). It is a recipe his mother gave him- something his grandpa used to love when he was still alive. He only canned 3 jars of it but we have a zillion more tomatoes to make more things

You will have to give it a try and let us know how it is.. I have tons of tomato's too. I have been making pasta sauce and canning it.
