I'm leaving Friday and will not be back until Sunday. I'm gonna take my laptop but not sure about signal. I will be posting the September Swap thread on Thursday afternoon so be on the look out for it!

As your eggs start hatching - PLEASE PLEASE post pictures of your babies on this thread.

I could use a few more frizzles.

But I also could use new blood for my quail also. My cortunix and Bob Whites.

sssoooooo...how are they doing?

Ok... Update. The serama eggs are doing good. But the surprise egg is no good. There is a blood ring, no sign of life moving around or growing, nor is there veins. I am going to toss this one. So now since it isn't going to hatch. Are you gonna tell me what it was.......

Bummer! I'm not too surprised though...the place I got the birds from didn't have them very well conditioned at all and I didn't have them long enough to get them up to snuff. I set a few eggs from them that they laid when I first brought them home and only 1 has developed at all! Any way, it was a Mille Fleur D'anver egg...hope your not too dissapointed in it not taking...

Glad to hear the Serama eggs that made the trip are doing well...I've had some really good hatch rates (as far as Serama go) from my birds, but a few times the hidden Jap gene shows throug and they develop fully but don't hatch. I think I have most of those issues cleared up and the birds doing well. My birds have tossed a couple micros...so maybe...

No, not disappointed.... I rarely ever lose any serama eggs or babies. Once I learned how to hatch them they are pretty easy to hatch now.

Thanks again, I will post pics when they hatch.
