went in the kitchen at 12 30 to check my eggs that are in the delivery room, lol, nothing new just 1 pip, which I already had, went in an hour later for a drink to find a little dark Sussex chick!

1 pip since yesterday. Still hasn't changed. I can't take it and now I have togo to work.

OMG, I am having a hard enough time not staring at the bator, now seeing cute hatchlings is making it even harder, LOL!

What kind? I'm sure you said but my mind is like a sieve.

this is my latest little doll!! hatched in the night....big surprise it's mom usually has yellow chicks!!
it's all black except the tips on each wing and the bottom of it's feet! mom was sold to me as a dark copper Sussex but I believe she's a sex link....but she has black legs and lays white or very light cream eggs

This is my Sophia's new favorite pastime, when she's not grooming herself or eating. I can always find her napping with them or babysitting the chicks.

An hour ago I had the tiniest pip. Now I have another pip and a little chick! That was so fast. I hope that is a sign of a super chicken.
