I hope I get to join y'all next month, but I dunno if I'll have anything laying? My Guineas are really slowing down, instead of getting 4 eggs a day I'm getting 0-1.

Maybe all the chickens will settle down after it cools down. It's still 100+ here everyday!

Yeah, I am totally sick of this heat. I have been feeding the critters at dusk. It sounded like we might get rain tonight but just a sprinkle so far. Come on fall!​

I am in the same pickle here.. nothing laying like the should, but the ducks & 3 little Quail *sigh*

We went about a month with no rain and got 3 inches this morning. It brought heat and humidity with it. I have several starting to lay. I just need to get their breeding pens done so I have pure instead of mix.

Troy, did you see I mentioned you a few posts back? I'll PM you about the What You Got Swap. It is a lot of fun. Several people on here do that one too.

My Guineas layed all summer long, right threw the 117 days we had. The chickens totaly stopped laying, and just recently they are beginning to lay again, but not as much as I would like!
