August Mystery Egg Swap . . . . . Sign Ups Open!!!!

I thought our buddies were in the general region anyway so two days ought to do it, right? But yeah, I ship more on Mondays just because that's when I go to town. Man, I am in major withdrawal here, I haven't had a box of shipped eggs in ages . But the Bator is on , with 4 dozen eggs so far. I am sure mine will show up Monday or so. I am getting ready for the quail hatch along. I figure my quail are going to start laying any minute. And I have eggs coming from Em as well.

This person does usually send lots of eggs. I took an offer of 6+ and got 27 when I opened the box. This was before there was tragedy in the hen house, though.

I have just been able to get back online in the last few days.. shewww... life without BYC is HARD. I got one box on Thursday from North Carolina.. nice looking eggs that are already "cooking"

got two boxes today.. one from GA contained tiny speckled eggs (can I assume quail of some kind and 15 days I wonder??)and the one from IA contained another mystery..some eggs in pink bubble wrap had a B or a G on them with the number 21.. the others were wrapped in green bubble wrap..no letters or numbers -- there are two larger white eggs.. not sure if they are giant chicken or something else.. all will go into the bator tomorrow morning early after they have had time to rest.

I am excited about these swaps of course.. but even more excited to be back online. I lost all my records so if I owe you anything from a swap/egg chain/auction $$.. please PM me with your address.. I do not mean to not send.. I just had set up a nice little folder with all that information which blew up with the old computer...and I am past the age of instant recall and great memory

5/6 guinea eggs still going strong. One green egg and one brown egg still going strong. And it looks like 2/4 button quail are developing - at least they are filled with darkness where the other two are clear. I only candled them one time since I don't want to mess with them too much.​
