August Mystery Egg Swap . . . . . Sign Ups Open!!!!

You actually count them? Oh dear , I never do that. My husband might find out how many there actually are.

I don't have the eggs to swap with (purebred), and I don't really want more mixes so probably until I get my poultry facility built I won't be able to do too many swaps.

I can't do it either as I need my chicks to all hatch by September so they get big enough by December.But next spring I will have tons of eggs to swap.So have fun and I will see you all next spring....​

I don't think I can stop myself. I haven't turned off the incubators in I don't know when!

I have a bad feeling I'm still going to have my incubators running all winter!

Well, you wouldn't want them to gather dust or stop working. Of course, I may be in trouble because I have 2 cabinet incubators, plus three styrofoam ones and a reptipro. I might need more bath tubs!

Won't be joining this month (Sept) - I am done hatching in 2 weeks. These last ones are going to have a hard time feathering out before the snow flies up here. Who knows we've easily had snow in September before. I will be back next spring and I should have more laying by then and a different variety. This has been my build up year

At least thats what I tell the hubby.

mrheinz - my Aug swap eggs are doing good - most have something happening (including the guineas). We will see in the next week or two. I taped the cracked one and it has definite development and movement! We'll see how it does as the next week rolls around - its more than half way through.
