Mr. Heinz can you tell me what my 12 little chicks are. I had 6, 7, and x and xx eggs. I have some chipmunk chicks, black chick with feathers on its feet, solid black chick with black feet, grey chick with white on his face and a grey blue chick.

6 is my Welsummer pen but I have a bantam that has Wellie markings but is blue instead of black.
7 bantam EE/OE covered by my black Ameraucana
XX mom is a bantam black Wyandotte or bantam black langshan. Dad, ?
X are anybody's guess.

Yes, at least one! I was moving them from the hatcher to the brooder and the first one I picked up was the NN! My first thought was, oh no! But it is so cute!

ETA: Oh yeah, and at that time there were 11 chicks so far out of 15!!

Ok, last update...12 hatched and only one NN, 3 chipmunks of various shades, a few lights and a few darks. The three that didn't hatch were a 6, 9 and X...

Either buff orps or German New Hampshires. It's been so long I can't remember. Pure breeds, no mixes. They look so cute now but get sooooo big!

Here are my cute 6 little chickies! I give up - just a guess that they are Buff Orps maybe from Pauletta? I don't have any idea

Just an FYI, I am undecided if I will continue the monthly swap. It seems like we have somebody from the November swap that decided not to follow through with their swap. I don't like being put in that position so I will take a little time to reflect.
