Aureomycin Question

I am giving my Birds Aureomycin right now and I heard that you shouldn't eat the eggs while they are on this. I know I heard it from someone, but I looked at the bag and it only says not to give to Turkeys giving eggs. Does anyone know if you can still eat the eggs while on the medicine?

If it's the powdered type aureomycin to be mixed in water, the egg withdrawal is 5 days. ( Personally I'd wait 7 days to be safe.)
