This is just awesome. I found it as a link after watching one of our members video on nipples on a steel pail. I am just amazed! This is how to be able to free range on an industrial level! No more battery hens! If you had a big enough farm I think you could easily run 10 of these with one person, 4500 chickens. If you had more room and budget you could hire a second person and run 10 more for a total of 9000 chickens. Now I don't know hardly anything at all about the personnel/chickens ratio in commercial battery chicken egg factories, but this system has got to move it in a more economically possible range while taking it leaps and bounds to sustainable agriculture.
