an Austalian shepherd doesn't KNOW it's an "Australian Shepherd" dogs have no concept of "breed"
I don't like Australian Shepherds either, one of my Aunts has had them my entire life, right now she has two, one is a mix, and they are the MEANEST dogs I've ever come across, they don't bite, but they don't trust ANYONE, even my grandfather who goes over to my aunts atleast 2 times a week, they bark and bark and bark, and he still can't touch them, after 4 years!
*ahem* ban them and kill them cause they're dangerous :O
but no seriously, if you're already weary, it doesn't matter what breed of dog it is, if you go up with the mind-set of "if this thing goes for me I'mm keel it" any dog would be fearful, but as far as snapping?, that dog should not be adopted out.
