You make me want to have duckies

the only hope of me getting ducks would be if I hatched some out, raised them up then released them on our lake. Do you reckon that would work or would they not be able to adjust to the wild.

Not a good idea... They do need to have their feed supplemented, foraging for themselves isnt always enough, and they would also need a predator safe area for sleeping.

Im not watching tv...My daughter just got home from work and has stolen the remote control.. I am thinking of having an early night - so I ca watch a dvd in my own room.

I liked the original episodes! Who was the very first Doctor Who? Even I can't remember!!

To reply to your question GFG the chook cost me $200, hubby thinks $100! So don't tell him! The one I told Ducky about was a LOT more than that, and in 2 years she hasn't laid one egg!!

I just candled the duck eggs again,and we have 10 fertile,the one I wasn't sure about was not fertile,but 10 out of 12 for posted eggs is AMAZING!

Can't find anything worth watching myself,even with Foxtel,have no DVD's so maybe an early sleep is called for!

TEN!! Thats great.. I can remeber getting one lot of posted eggs and only having two stat- and only one of them hatched.. That was disappointing

The first original DR was played by William Hartnell. But I think my Favorite is Tom baker... maybe Jon Pertwee... not much between those two anyway.

I do remeber Jon Pertwee - he was great - loved the Daleks too - "XTERMINATE....!"
