Australorp and Red Broiler Chicks---Coloration Question

Hey Y'all,

My Black Australorp rooster has bred two red broiler hens. I decided to hatch four of the eggs. Two of the chicks are black and two are yellow.

First, should I expect sex links?

Second, how did I end up with two yellow chicks?

No sex links, your rooster is Extended Black E/E, i+/i+ your Red Broiler is Wheaten eWh/eWh with one copy of dominant white I/i+, when You crossed them the cross results in 50% being E/eWh, i+/i+ with black chick down and 50% E/eWh, I/i+ yellow chick down
