I'm pretty sure barred rocks have single combs and Dominiques have non single combs (I can't think of the word right now, sorry)

BRs are supposed to have single combs. The lighter colored one is a cockerel.

Ah, yes, so it seems OP has barred rocks but the friend has a Dominique cockerel. I can't tell on the friend's other chickens though

Yep. The lighter colored one is a Dominique cockerel, and the other ones look like BR pullets.

Yep! Isa Browns are sex links and I believe TSC only sells the girls.

I agree with Dominique. It looks like OP's pullet has a rose comb also. It just has a point at the top end.
