Thanks Ozark Hen, Gave them some sugar water, the little one is up and cheeping it's little head off, Last night it curled up under the bigger one, it was too cute. They are Purple guinea's haven't had any like that just Pearl's. Off to the feed store now for the game starter. And I will try to get some pics on later.

Mom did great with her surgery, they changed surgery time from 1:00 to 2:15, which threw a loop in because my bro's appt was at 10:00 and he was done by 10:30 or so, We had to kill alot of time and mom wasnt able to eat so that didn't help any, but, we made it through, lol

Well I am stoked, went to local feed store, which I hardly ever shop at because their prices are higher and our county taxes are higher, so anyway went there to get the game bird starter and just as a fluke ask if they had ever heard of DE, thinking I would get laughed out of the joint, anyway they had it 50# bag for $22, and the garden shop down the street sells it in 5# and 10# bags as well,

so I am fixed up now, yea!!!!

Now just an added note. On another thread someone who has years of experience said you don't have to use gamebird starter. I am sure experience is the best thing. I will continue to use the game bird starter as why not?? I need to use it up anyway and if it gives my ducklings and guineas a good start then that is better for them. I notice all the poultry not being very particular on who's food they are eating. ha Good luck and I can't wait to see the pictures.

nothing wrong with photobucket...just me trying to figure out how to make my pictures smaller on my computer first. Finally got it, maybe. LOL here are today's photos..they are now six days old.

I seemed to have messed up another one so I will go back and try to upload it again.

Are all of them pearls? Mine are finally getting their feathers and look so funny touring the yard. Have fun and hope your female is out sitting on a nest!

yes, they are all pearls. I have never had any other color....yet!

How old were yours when you let them outside?
Jackie can you post some pics here of yours? How old are yours? I could actually see tiny pin feathers on their wings today.

Here is an update on my thirteen keets photos:

they are still wild as mad hatters, ha ha can't tame them it seems?? You can see the difference that 11 days has made from looking at my first posting on this thread.

Great pics, those look just like the ones I got today. Can't wait to see what I am getting on Tuesday, bought them sight unseen, lol
