Australorp? I Don't Think So :(

  1. We purchased her from a feed store that got their chickens from Mt. Healthy. She's almost 20 weeks now ...not laying, as yet.

    She was sold to us as an Australorp but what's with the orange feathers?

    I don't contribute much here cause I'm only good with duck breeds but honestly that doesn't look like an australorp to me.. just my .2 as crappy as that .2 is [​IMG]

    LMAO yes i do, and beleive it or not i have downsized from ferrets chickens, ducks, sugargliders and tons of others. My future as a hoarder looks clearer and clearer [​IMG] I'm pretty good at keeping control of it all believe it or not [​IMG]

    Looks like my sexlink but with more color. She is very pretty.

    I agree that she looks like a sexlink Black which is a cross between a barred Rock and RIR. Should be a great layer.
