We bought 3 Plymouth Blue Rock chicks, this is one of them, is this actually an Australorp? And is this a rooster or a hen? It is 20 weeks this Monday, no crowing, no eggs, its very aggressive to the other chickens and toward people, it will turn broadside, puff up and lift its far wing and kinda bounce.

This is the second egg from one of the others if that helps determine the breed, its a cream color.

Thanks!

She’s probably a mean pullet. My Two australorp are very mean too

Thanks everyone! So, her feet are yellowish but not strikingly yellow, the other two are just fleshy pink.

Jersey Giant and definitely a pullet! Probably laying
She's had a big red comb for at least 6 weeks, but no eggs yet. The first two pullet eggs were laid while she was still in her Dunce Coop doing her 4 days of time out. We just put her back with the flock last night and so far she's not going after the others like she was.

Jersey has produced two eggs so far, here is her second! Its almost regular egg long but narrow. She has also remained civil enough to stay with the rest of the flock, she is definitely back to being the boss but the two Australorps now feel free to peck back at her instead of letting her turn them into her mean minions.

I'm surprised by how light her egg color is, it's even lighter than the Auatralorps.

Thanks everyone who pegged her breed and verified she was a pullet 😊
