Looks like a pullet. I’ve got ten week olds and they looked like that at 7 weeks and are for sure pullets

Don't let the high tail scare you. It's a pullet we have 4 hen birds with the high proud tail, and at that age our roo was testing out his voice.

Hi! New chicken mom here, first post, wondering if my Australorp is a roo? Will be 7 weeks in two days. Those tail feathers have me nervous! Comb isn’t red yet, behavior is on the skittish side. It’s my only Aussie so nothing to compare to. What do you think?
