Australorp Squater

I have a one-eyed (hawk damage) 3-4 year old Australorp hen who has started sitting on the ground to eat out of the feeder or peck on the ground, has trouble getting up on a low roost, and seems to almost waddle low to the ground. I don't know if she is laying. She is free range during the day and has always been a laid-back kinda gal but now she barely moves around. I've palpated her abdomine, which is soft, but no more so than some of may other big sized gals. I wormed her about 2 months ago so I don't suspect a big problem with parasites. Could she be egg bound or what?
