I'd press for a bit more information. It could be they came from a very good line. Tell her what you're interested in. That's in Texas, so I'd ask if the original stock came from the Chet Hupp line in Arizona.
I hope you find more information!I did that. This was before I learned about the Rattlesnake line. I see only one person is offering hatching eggs of that line and of course hatching eggs are hit and miss!

This is Tara with BlueRooFarmOH, I have the Rattlesnake Ridge line and bred that line with Black Champion Australorp genes from a guy in my area that always wins the Dayton Fancy Feather Show. I will have hatching eggs this spring if you're interested. Chet in AZ, sold his line to a woman then, I think she started breeding something else. I really wanted to add Chets genes to rattlesnack ridge, then she backed out.
