Australorps in Italy

I am german living in rural Italy close the Appenin mountains. I am keeping currently a mini flock of 3 Australorps. When I started with 2 hens and a rooster 3 years ago I had none experience with chickens.
In the meantime one of my hens got broody and we had 2 little chicks. I can not imagine a life without chickens anymore. Even though it is a bit challenging here to keep them safe.
I am hoping to get some exchange here in this community.
