Not a fan of frizzles, just because any odd bird in my flock tends to get bullied. But the barred NN are awesome.

unfortunately you are right. I had to separate 2 frizzle girls, 1 is Nn. my frizzle boy is still surviving in the bachelor coop.

I think Frizzles would be great for people who can keep them solo, but chickens are brutal and anything odd looking and they just bully it incessantly.

For now, it's looking like a pullet. She is pea combed like the Brahma and I don't see any pink or redness to the comb.

That would be cool. I have another chick from that rooster that is mixed with Buckeye that could turn out to be a cockerel.

I am not from Utah anymore. But I was living in Salt Lake. I have been to Spanish Fork! A lot more rural than Salt Lake

I’m glad to actually find some people that actually like Naked Neckers (Turkens)! I gave some mixed barnyard eggs to my friend to set in her incubator last year and forgot all about my NN rooster and hen running with my free ranged birds. During her hatch, she texted me all distraught that something terrible was wrong with one of her chicks. She said “it doesn’t have any feathers on its neck!” I said “oh yeah its a Naked Necker, its supposed to be that way.” She was appalled and asked “WHY??”

Now that she owns a couple NN chickens from eggs she hatched from my mixed free range flock she likes them, but at first she was not a fan.
