I know I'm on this kick. Some of my chickens waddles and Combs are trying reddish. However I have a few that seems they are getting darker. What's up?

They’re just immature, they will get redder as they mature.

I’m pretty sure this is common for the breed. Neither of mine did this but I’ve seen this in other posts.

You didn't mention the age, but I remember my australorps doing this too.
